Assemble the ingredients: Any lemon-lime soda, Bisquick, sour cream, butter
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix. Add soda. Makes a very soft dough.
Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out. I forgot the "sprinkle additional..." part and it stuck to the cutting board pretty badly.
Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9 inch square pan. Place cut biscuits in pan. They are VERY difficult to cut.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Review:
This is the 2nd time I've made them. The first time I used Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and took them to Easter dinner. My sister-in-law's step-father (who is a caterer) actually complimented me on the biscuits. They might not look pretty, but they're delicious!
And when the original post says that the dough is hard to work with.... that's not an exaggeration. It's really sticky.
