Dessert Friday: Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

Pinspiration: http://pinterest.com/pin/185210603398559671/

Assemble the ingredients: Butter, peanut butter, vanilla, egg, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, chocolate chips

Melt the butter in a small dish. I melted it in the mug. Add the peanut butter and mix well. I don't really think all of the steps need to be done in separate bowls. That seemed like a lot of cleanup.

In the mug, mix together the vanilla, egg, and sugar until well combined.

Combine the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder and add to the mug.

Pour in the peanut butter/butter mixture and mix well. So, yeah, the peanut butter/butter was already in the mug.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Put in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.

I don't remember how long I left it in there.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

2 T butter
2 T peanut butter
1/2 t vanilla
1 egg
2 T sugar
2 T flour
3 T cocoa powder
1/8 t salt
1/8 t baking powder
3 t chocolate chips

1. Melt the butter in a small dish. Add the peanut butter and mix well.
2. In the mug, mix together the vanilla, egg, and sugar until well combined.
3. Combine the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder and add to the mug.
4. Pour in the peanut butter/butter mixture and mix well. (Since I had already mixed the pb/b mixture in with the vanilla, egg, and sugar, I didn't do this step)
5. Stir in the chocolate chips. I didn't measure. I just poured.
6. Put in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or until desired doneness is reached (all microwaves are different so you might have to experiment a little. I only do it for about 1 minute).

Review:

Like all the other "mug cakes" this one is good. I would make it again. I didn't see any issues doing it in the order I did.
